Who we are

Herriman Handyman Co. is a service-request and referral property operated by WebDevAuto, a Utah-based web and marketing business located at 175 Albion Village Way, Apt #305, Sandy, UT 84070. "We" and "us" in these terms mean WebDevAuto operating this site.

What this site does

This site collects home repair and installation requests from homeowners in Herriman and the surrounding southwest Salt Lake valley, and works to connect those requests with independent local service providers.

What this site does not do

We do not perform handyman work. We do not employ the people who perform the work. We do not set, negotiate or guarantee prices. We do not schedule, dispatch or supervise work. We do not process payments for jobs, and no payment for handyman work is taken through this site.

How we are paid

Providers may pay WebDevAuto for leads, referrals, exclusivity, service-area or trade access, or related marketing services. You pay us nothing, and no payment for handyman work is taken through this site. Whether a provider pays us does not oblige you to contact or hire anyone.

Independent service providers

Any work is performed by independent service providers who are not our employees, agents, partners or subcontractors. If a provider is available for your request, you contract directly with that provider. That provider is solely responsible for their own estimate and pricing, scheduling, licensing, insurance, workmanship, warranty terms, employees and subcontractors, and compliance with applicable law.

Availability is not guaranteed

Submitting a request does not create a contract for work, a booking, an appointment or a price. It does not guarantee that any provider is available for your job, your location or your timeline. We are still building our local provider list, so at present every request is reviewed by hand as an availability inquiry, and some requests may receive no match.

Estimates and pricing

Any price you are given comes from the independent provider, not from us. Prices shown anywhere on this site, if any, are not offers, quotes, bids or guarantees. You and the provider agree the scope, the price and the schedule directly, before work starts.

Licensing

Small home repair and installation work in Utah may be performed under the state's handyman exemption. Work that legally requires a licensed contractor, including major electrical, plumbing or HVAC work, must be performed by an appropriately licensed contractor. Confirming a provider's license status, insurance and qualifications for your job is your decision and the provider's responsibility; we do not certify, license, bond, insure or endorse any provider.

Warranties and workmanship

We do not warrant any work performed by a provider, and we offer no satisfaction guarantee on that work. Any warranty is the one the provider gives you, on the provider's own terms. Claims about completed work are between you and the provider.

Provider applications

Submitting a provider application is not an approval, an agreement, an offer of work or a promise of lead volume, earnings, territory or exclusivity. Applications are reviewed by hand. Any commercial terms would be agreed separately in writing before any lead is sent.

Your submission

Requests and applications submitted through this site are processed through WebDevAuto's customer relationship management infrastructure. What we collect and how it is handled is described in our Privacy Policy.

How we contact you, and text messages

When you submit a request you are asking us to get back to you about it. We contact you by phone or email only; this site does not ask for text-message consent and does not enrol you in text messages or marketing of any kind.

If we pass your request to an independent provider, that provider contacts you directly and decides how, which may include a text from their own number. Any opt-out for that is between you and the provider.

No warranties from us

This site and the referral service are provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about this site, about provider availability, or about any provider's work, conduct, licensing or insurance.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts, omissions, work, pricing, damage, delay, injury or loss caused by an independent provider, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, and nothing in these terms limits or transfers a provider's own responsibility to you.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.

We may update these terms. The date above shows when they last changed.
