Who handles your information

This site is operated by WebDevAuto, 175 Albion Village Way, Apt #305, Sandy, UT 84070. Information you submit here is processed through WebDevAuto's customer relationship management infrastructure, which runs on Google Cloud and Firebase.

What we collect

When you submit a request: your name, phone number, email address, the city or area of the job, the job description you write, and anything else you choose to include. When you submit a provider application: your business name, contact details, trade, service area, and the licensing and insurance details you choose to give us. In both cases we also record basic technical information such as the page you submitted from and the time of submission.

How we use it

To review your request or application by hand, to contact you about it, to look for an independent local provider who may be available for your job, and to keep our own records of requests and responses.

Who we share it with, and how we are paid

Herriman Handyman Co. is operated by WebDevAuto. You submit your information so that WebDevAuto can review your request and, if an independent local provider is available, share it with that provider so they can contact you. Providers are separate businesses, not our employees.

Providers may pay WebDevAuto for leads, referrals, exclusivity, service-area or trade access, or related marketing services. We are telling you this here because it is material to how the service works, not buried in a definition.

Submitting a request does not guarantee that your information will be shared with anyone, or that a provider is available for your job. You are never required to contact or hire a provider. Once a provider receives your details, that provider handles them under its own privacy practices, which we do not control.

We do not sell your information for unrelated advertising or to data brokers, and we do not share it with anyone outside the process described above.

We also use service vendors that process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes: Google Firebase for hosting and data storage, and Resend for email delivery. That processing is how the request reaches us and is a separate thing from sharing your request with a provider, and separate again from any payment a provider makes to WebDevAuto.

Phone, email and text

This form does not ask for text-message consent and does not sign you up for text messages or marketing. We contact you about your request by phone or email only. WebDevAuto has no outgoing text-message service for this site.

If we pass your request to an independent provider, that provider contacts you directly and chooses how, which may include a text from their own number. That is their contact with you, not ours, and any opt-out is handled by them.

Cookies and analytics

We use standard web analytics to understand which pages people use. Analytics data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser.

How long we keep it

We keep requests and applications for as long as we need them to run the service and to keep business records. You can ask us to delete yours.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by calling or texting (385) 364-8062. If you ask before we have passed your request to a provider, we will delete it and it goes no further — that is usually possible because every request is reviewed by hand. If a provider already has your details, you will need to contact that provider directly as well.

Children

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

We may update this policy. The date above shows when it last changed.
